It is a well-known fact that the gaming industry rivals the Hollywood movie industry in terms of turnover today. Many Hollywood movies have games based on them and this has proven advantageous to either the movie, or the game or both. The highly anticipated sequel to one of the most successful movie franchise Terminator Salvation has just premiered worldwide. Also launched simultaneously is a 3rd person shooter with the same name and following a similar storyline. Here is a little about the game.
The year is 2016. Los Angeles lies in ruins. The desperate attempts to alter the past in order to avert the terrible future seem to have failed. The heartless robotic armies under the command of the artificial intelligence "Skynet" have begun the full-fledged destruction of humanity. However, there is still hope and humans still have a chance to withstand and defeat their powerful metallic enemies.
You play the role of John Connor - a courageous soldier of the human resistance. The game features enemies seen in the movie as well as other forms of "Terminators" created especially for the game.
